Increase the contribution of large companies to social responsibility
The contribution of large corporations to social responsibility in Saudi Arabia has increased significantly over the past few years. Large corporate CSR participation was around 30% in 2019. By the end of 2022, it reached 60%, according to the latest official reports and statistics available.
The contribution of the private sector in the Kingdom to the total social expenditure during 2019 did not exceed 1.19%. But it rose to about 4%. All these indicators make there optimism about what the social responsibility of the private sector can do in advancing development in all its social, economic and environmental axes.
