Iraq participated in the opening session of the fourth edition of the Arab Sustainable Development Week. His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Naeef Rashid Aldulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, headed the delegation of the Ministry of Planning and a team from the delegation on February 13, 2022, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

The General Secretariat of the Arab League, in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the United Nations, the European Union, and the World Bank, is holding the fourth edition of the Sustainable Development Week under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, under the theme “Together for Sustainable Recovery” with the aim of mitigating the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on achieving sustainable development goals in Arab countries.
