Ghazali Othmani, the President of the Comorian Union, received Zubairi Mohamed Ahmed, the President of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, along with Dwayne Abdu, the President of the National Assembly in the Comorian Union and its deputies, to discuss ways to support the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.

Othmani emphasized the need to work on supporting the orientations of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, especially during the Comoros Islands’ presidency of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace for the period 2022-2023, confirming his country’s continuous support for the efforts of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace under the presidency of Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jrowan, and its International Parliament under the presidency of Zubairi, especially in the fields of awareness, culture, and education, with the aim of spreading the values of tolerance and peace.

He stressed the support for the parliamentary apparatus of the Council, confirming that the National Assembly of the Comorian Union will spare no effort in supporting the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.

Zubairi presented to Othmani an overview of the latest efforts of the Council and its International Parliament and General Assembly in various fields, aiming to promote and spread the values of tolerance and peace in the Comoros Islands and the world as a whole.
