Over the years, the Bank’s responsibilities have gone far beyond its banking services to cover social and environmental development, targeting different segments of the community. The Bank implements effective initiatives, programs and activities to support sectors that achieve sustainable development. This support is provided within a framework of a long-term strategic vision to achieve a significant impact that touches a broad section of the community through the expansion, development and diversification of its CSR activities in line with its strategic banking objectives and social, environmental and economic requirements.

To that end, the Bank has recently developed flexible strategies inspired by its vision of being more than just a financial and banking institution. These strategies are formulated based on global standards to keep pace with social and environmental developments. The Bank has also designed special plans, initiatives and programs involving various aspects of development to create more positive changes in the lives of many people of various sectors.

The Bank’s contributions, whether alone or in partnership with civil society institutions, are directed to various sectors, mainly education, health, the environment, art, culture, tourism, sports, youth, children and women, among others.

Healthcare

Jordan Ahli Bank supports the health care sector in Jordan with the aim of raising health care standards and promoting health awareness among Jordanians to ensure the sustainability of their health as the basis of development. the Bank provided its support for the “From the Lowest Point to the Highest Point for Cancer” expedition. It also organized a campaign to donate blood for the National Blood Bank and participated in the 15th Pharmaceuticals Syndicate Exhibition and Conference. The Bank provided its sponsorship for the annual charity event of the Families & Friends Society of Persons with Disabilities and supported the fourth phase of the national campaign to combat anemia in cooperation with Save the Children. It provides constant support to King Hussein Cancer Center as part of its commitment to support national efforts to fight cancer. It also sponsored “From the Lowest Point to the Highest Point for Cancer” expeditions in order to raise funds for the expansion project of the King Hussein Cancer Center.

Charitable and Humanitarian Work

Jordan Ahli Bank takes keen interest in the welfare of the less-privileged segments of society by providing aid and assistance to them and supporting their productive projects. the Bank distributed Ramadan parcels in the various governorates of the Kingdom. It also distributed clothing containers in a number of its branches to collect donations. It sponsored JHCO’s Jacket for Every Student campaign and launched MasterCard prepaid cards to support Syrian refugees in Jordan. The Bank sponsored a fundraiser for the Petra National Trust and the second annual charity dinner of the University of Jerusalem. It provided its support for Inner Wheel Club and its program supporting the King Hussein Cancer Center. It also supported the Wings of Hope Society to establish a sports stadium.

Education

Jordan Ahli Bank pays special attention to education. the Bank scaled up its support for the education sector to improve the quality of education and thus enhance education outcomes and the level of knowledge, creativity and innovation among students and teachers alike. The Bank sponsored the Teacher Skills Forum and Model United Nations Conferences in a number of schools in Jordan. The Bank also sponsored social activities in several schools, such as the New English School, as well as education and awareness programs carried out by Petra National Trust. The Bank extends continuous cooperation and support for the Children’s Museum, supporting its programs for the training of staff and financing its activities to achieve its objectives as the Bank is one the main supporters and founders of the Museum.

Childhood

children remained at the top of the Bank’s CSR priorities as childhood is the most important phase of growth and development. The Bank has sponsored many events and occasions and implemented a series of activities such as the sponsorship of the annual event of the Love Committee, and holding Iftar banquets for children with a focus on the ill, specifically the deaf in cooperation with the Jordanian Women’s Development Association of the Deaf.

Sport

Jordan Ahli Bank continues to support the sports sector to develop all kinds of sports and to encourage talented athletes. , it provided its sponsorship to the 22nd FIBA Asia U-18 Championship for Women. It also supported the junior football league in several schools such as Mashreq School and the Rosary School, Marj Al Hamam. It also sponsored the Ayman Al-Muasher 9th Basketball Tournament in Baccalaureate School and provided support for the Terra Sancta College football team.
