Al Tasnim Group excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility has been remarkably recognized in Alam al-Iktisaad Wal A’mal (AIWA) Excellence Award 2020.

Under patronage of HE Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce Industry & Investment Promotion, the Award has been received at the 10th edition of Oman Forum 2020 organized by AIWA magazine at Sheraton Hotel, Muscat on 24th November, 2020.

As an integral part of Al Tasnim Group’s core principles, is giving back to the community through its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) by making itself present in philanthropic causes that bring positive impact and add social value to the country and community.

One of the various and distinguished CSR initiative, especially in the current global pandemic situation is contribution to the health care sector and enhancing the access to the same. Al Tasnim Group has successfully constructed and donated a fully equipped Barbazoom Health Center in Wilayat of Thumrait under the supervision of Ministry of Health.

The Health Center, was handed over to Ministry of Health in July 2020. It is located in southern part of the Sultanate, centered in a very active area that is connecting many other nearby areas of Dhofar Governate providing its facilities to large number of local residents.

The Barbazoom Health Center primarily providing healthcare services that includes pharmacy, radiology, therapeutic examination clinic for men and women, immunization clinic for children, maternity and childhood clinic, medical laboratory, and other supporting health services.

Al Tasnim Group’s motive behind investing in this CSR initiative is to fill-in the need for healthcare in rural areas and positively impact the wellbeing of the local residents of Barbazoom.
