Maroc Telecom has obtained the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) label of the General Confederation of Moroccan Companies (CGEM). This label attests to Maroc Telecom’s commitment to defend and promote the universal principles of social responsibility and sustainable development. It has been rewarded after assessment of compliance with the CGEM’s social responsibility charter. A charter which meets the national legislation and also standards, conventions and recommendations of the international organizations: UN, ILO and OECD. It is in line with the guidelines of ISO 26 000. The assessment audit was conducted by Vigeo, Europe's leading non-financial ratings agency
Pursuing its continuous progress approach in sustainable development, Maroc Telecom has called on 2017 an independent expert to measure its performance in terms of corporate social responsibility using a globally recognized standard: the ISO 26000 standard. This first evaluation was carried out by Vigeo-ERIS, European leader in extra-financial analysis; Maroc Telecom obtained the Vigeo- Eiris 26000 certification with a score leading to a positioning in the "Advanced" level, the highest level of performances of companies under review.
This score confirms the convincing results regularly noted by the external diagnoses on the environmental approaches and the HR and quality policies of Maroc Telecom.
